Our Hope for Years to Come: A Comprehensive Campaign
for God's Work at Christ Church
For more than 250 years, the historic campus of Christ Church has been a sanctuary where generations of people have gathered to worship, heal, and serve. Over the years, our mission and our ministries have expanded to address the changing needs of the parish and wider communities.
This inspired campaign – Our Hope & Home for Years to Come – embodies our commitment to ensuring our parish home remains a beacon of God's unbounded love and welcome for all people. By expanding our full-time clergy, we will deepen our pastoral care and spiritual formation. Through vital capital improvements, including an elevator in the Parish House to provide access to all floors, modernized multi-use spaces, and accessible bathrooms, we will remove the barriers that prevent full participation in our programs and events and create a more inclusive, welcoming environment for all.
In our ongoing work to understand and acknowledge our history, funds from this campaign will enable us to create a memorial in the churchyard to honor the enslaved people who built our church.
And, finally, a dedicated campaign tithe will expand the vital work of our Lazarus Ministries that support those in our community that experience poverty, violence, and injustice.

Four Buildings | Four Centuries
Christ Church is more than 250 years old, but a careful reading of the timeline shows that our four buildings touch four centuries. They house deep and meaningful worship, intense pastoral conversations, recovery meetings, food pantries, Christian formation, choir practices, receptions, community events, concerts, weddings, funerals, candlelit services, Christmas pageants (and the star!), baptisms, confirmations, and so much more.
Today our campus – with hearty buildings entrusted to us by generations past and maintained with thoughtful care – is in real need of long-term, smart improvements for a new time and new generations at Christ Church.
