Lent Forum Series | New Testament Apocrypha
March 8, 15, 22 | 9:00 a.m. | Meade Room
Join Robbie over three weeks as we explore early Christian writings that were not included in the New Testament. For more info, contact Robbie.

Praying the Way of the Cross | March 4 | 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Join us in the church before or after Dinner Church for a spiritual pilgrimage through the Stations of the Cross. We will follow in the footsteps of Christ from his trial to the tomb. Each station includes prayers of remembrance of Christ’s sacrificial love and prayers for our world. You are invited to walk any or all of the stations or to pray from the pews. You can also take a turn at reading prepared prayers and offer your own petitions, either silently or aloud. This annual Lenten observance is sponsored by the Daughters of the King.
Dinner Church | March 4
The first Wednesday of the month means Dinner Church! From 5:45 to 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium, we will offer a special dinner for everyone. There will be a short “Service of Word and Table” during dinner for everyone to participate in together, and a special craft corner for kids.
Watch the Bonhoeffer Documentary | March 4 | 7:00 p.m. | Meade Room
Following Dinner Church, join us for a viewing of the documentary Bonhoeffer by director Martin Doblmeier. Whether or not you are planning to join our Lenten book study of Bonhoeffer’s The Cost of Discipleship, the story of this renown theologian and Nazi resistor is profoundly necessary in our own day. No RSVP necessary, just come watch!
Taizé | April 1 | 7:30 p.m. | Auditorium
Taizé is an ecumenical community in France that focuses its ministry on reconciliation with Christ and the world. The community’s life is centered on a specific style of worship and prayer, in many languages, that form the basis of their reflection and action. Visitors of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities visit the community to participate in their life and worship. Taizé worship is quiet, reflective, deeply peaceful, and joyful, including four-part harmony chants, silences, prayers, and readings.
Maundy Thursday Agape Meal and Holy Eucharist | April 2
On Maundy Thursday, April 2 we will commemorate the institution of the Eucharist by celebrating an Agape Meal in the Auditorium, where we will share a simple meal together, hear the story of the night when Jesus broke bread with the disciples, and pray as we dine together. Following the Agape meal, we will process over to the church for Holy Eucharist. The Agape meal starts at 6:15 p.m., the Eucharist starts at 7:30 p.m.
Walk the Labyrinth
The Labyrinth is a medieval Christian practice that provides a guided pattern for walking prayer. It is a metaphor for the spiritual journey; an opportunity for physically guided meditation and a way to deepen and amplify your worship experience wherever you are on your journey of faith. If you long for a moment’s peace and quiet; if you seek an alternative path to prayer and meditation; if you’re curious and seeking, then come and walk with us.
Here are the times that the Labyrinth is planned to be available during Lent.
