Children & Youth

Children and youth are a Christ Church priority: welcome at every worship service. Sundays during the 10:00 a.m. service, children aged three through third grade are welcome to go to Children’s Chapel, leaving the church just prior to the Gospel reading and returning for the Peace. Worship for the children includes a Gospel reading, an interactive, age-appropriate sermon, the prayers of the people, and songs to sing.

Childcare is also available in our Parish House nursery rooms for infants through five-year-olds on Sundays from 7:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. We also have an Infant Caring Room with a closed-circuit television where you can attend to your child’s needs while watching the service.

During the program year (from early September through the first week in June) we offer Sunday school from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. Youth groups meet almost every Sunday evening and take special trips throughout the year, including apple picking in the fall, a ski trip, and a weekend retreat to Shrine Mont. During the summer, our children have Vacation Bible School for one week in June.
