The youth of Christ Church will participate in the SOUPerbowl of Caring by collecting full sized toiletries for the Lazarus Ministry. Last year, 1,265 items were collected,  an important supplement to the food provided to guests of the Lazarus Food Pantry.

Toiletries are expensive and hard to come by for our Lazarus guests. Although important in our daily lives, these items are rarely, if ever, offered by any community service providers. Yet, they are the most highly requested items by our Lazarus guests. Being able to offer these items shows our respect for the needs of the whole person and sends the message that we value the dignity of our guests

Consider full sized shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, hand sanitizer, and body lotion (especially given the cold weather). Items can be placed in the food pantry collection box on Sundays, brought to the church during business hours, or delivered to the Ingathering on February 7.
