Over time and distance, the equal rights of women have progressed. We celebrate the achievements of women while remaining vigilant and tenacious for further sustainable changes. There is global momentum for championing women's equality.

Join us at Christ Church on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. for a service in celebration of women.

March 8 is International Women's Day. Since its birth in the 1900s, it has grown to become a global day of recognition and celebration across developed and developing countries alike to celebrate women's advancement while serving as a reminder that continued vigilance and action are required to ensure that women's equality is gained and maintained in all aspects of life.

Events are held annually throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. Join us as we, too, pay tribute to women on this important day with a service using inclusive language and readings about inspiring women in the Bible.

We invite you to join us following the service for a reception in the Meade Room.
