The New Year is a time for resolution. Here at Christ Church we have an instrument that guides the health of our congregation into making resolutions to prosper and be faithful.

Last summer your Vestry approved a strategic plan that capitalized upon two years of praying and planning that will keep us focused with accountability for outcomes for the next several years. It did not end up on the shelf, as many do! It is an active ingredient guiding all that we do, week in and week out. In fact, it will be the basis for my performance review in June.

You can see it online and it is divided into four sections: Welcome and Diversity, Sustainability, Faith Community and Service to Others. The larger question I ask almost every day is how can the leadership of our Vestry, committee structure and staff best serve you in taking responsibility for ensuring our shared ministry is faithful, effective and a delight to God.
