Disciples of Christ in Community
What Is
DOCC?
Disciples of Christ in Community (DOCC)
is a congregational-based Christian formation program for adults that builds
community while encouraging individual spiritual growth. Nationally, more
than 25,000 people have completed this program administered by Washington
National Cathedral.
DOCC
consists of 20 sessions, each made up of two parts. The first part is a
community dinner followed by a presentation led by either clergy members or
theologically trained lay persons. The second part is an hour-long
discussion in response to the presentation held in small groups led by
members of the congregation trained to facilitate the discussions.
Individuals are assigned to a small group the first week we meet and stay
with the same small group throughout the course.
Want to Give it a Try?
Want to connect and grow? Give
DOCC
a try!
DOCC
is simple: just show up, eat, listen, and talk. Ask past participants;
they'll tell you that it's a life-changing experience that will help you
connect with others and grow in your faith. Come and give it a try!
Wednesday evenings, October to March from 6:00 to
8:30
PM,
beginning with dinner and followed by a presentation and small group
discussions. Questions? Contact The Rev. Jennifer McKenzie for more
